Reports suggest that Khadi visited the hotel with a man who checked out early the next morning. It was alleged that she had borrowed a power bank from a hotel staff, and when the staff went to retrieve it at check-out time, they found her in a concerning state. Although she was still breathing, Khadi passed away while being transported to the hospital. Following these events, the suspect willingly presented himself to the Akobo Police Division.
